The AI, Reasoning and Cognition (ARC) Lab at Arizona State University is led by Prof. Ben Zhou.

At ARC, we work at the intersection of NLP, CV, ML, and AI in general. Our focus is on AI system reasoning, controllability, and trustworthiness. Our work often takes inspiration from human cognition processes, such as abstraction, decomposition, and analogy. Some of our topics include but are not limited to question-answering, planning, code and program generation, agents and world model, LLM alignment, visual language model, neural-symbolic architecture, and probability estimation.
